Ireland
One island.
371,000 young people.
Ireland has always been a country that values community and we want to provide places for our teenagers to feel welcome, encouraged, known and valued.
We recognise that life as a teenager is now more challenging than ever. Teenagers are bombarded with pressures from social media, they face serious mental health challenges, confusion around their identity, and drug and alcohol abuse is rife in youth culture. Perhaps more than ever, teenagers need to know about Jesus Christ and to also have an adult in their life who cares about them, and will walk with them through life’s joys and challenges. That is what we seek to do in Young Life.
We are convinced God loves and has great plans for young people in Ireland.
That's why Young Life Ireland staff and leaders go out to young people all over Ireland showing God's love, welcoming young people just as they are and helping them grow in character and leadership.
Since its beginnings in the USA in 1941, Young Life has been making a difference in the lives of young people around the world due to the invitation and support of adults who care. Young Life is present in over 100 countries reaching over 2 million young people with the inclusive and life-changing message of God's hope, peace, grace and love for them.
Our Mission is to introduce young people to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.
We accomplish
